Practically everyone in the social gaming space has predicted that games on Facebook would evolve to become more complex and engaging, and we're already starting to see this happen. Games like Kingdoms of Camelot have upped the ante by adding elements of real-time strategy that go beyond farming.Recently another game launched that offers a lot of complexity and depth of gameplay that works really well in the Facebook space. Was actually released as a traditional PC game a few years ago. That release had the element of a real-time clock built in, so the transition to always-on social gaming play makes a lot of sense. Is an island simulation game where the player is put in charge of a small group of castaways on a deserted island. The goal of the game is to help your tribe grow, prosper, and eventually sail to other islands in order to explore the world. How to Play The first thing you'll do upon launching the game is pick your island layout.
There are multiple options that have different ratios of trees, grass and sandy beach. Once picked, you'll be taken to your island, which will include seven tribespeople and a kitchen.
The game will walk you through building some huts so your people can sleep, as well as food, wood and rock storage houses, and a science station. Beyond the tutorial, the game also includes a quest system to help keep you on track while playing. Each individual tribesperson levels up over time, and you can choose to increase their skill in six different categories that will help them be productive members of the tribe. Each adult can also be assigned to a job, such as harvesting rock or wood, farming, fishing, or researching new technologies.
My Tribe is an island simulation game where the player is put in charge of a small group of castaways on a deserted island. The goal of the game is to help your tribe grow, prosper, and eventually. My Tribe Los Angeles, Moto Leather Jackets, Leather Front Pants Leggings, Pencil Skirts, Cashmere Sweaters and Cardigans, Silk Blouses, Suede Leather Vests.
You assign them jobs by simply dragging them to item you want them to do, like dragging them to trees or rocks, or putting them out in the water to fish. As you increase their skills in the area of their job, they will do their work faster and more efficiently. In addition, once you have the 'recipe,' you can craft clothes for your people, and attaching gems to these items will increase certain skills, depending on the gem.
Resource gathering and leveling up can be found in lots of games, but My Tribe is different with little extras. Every minute and a half or so, an event will happen on the island.
This includes the appearance of mushrooms, falling of stardust and moondust, a rainstorm, or a crate, which can contain any number of items, washing up offshore. All of these events provide the player with additional resources. Stardust and moondust have many different uses, but the game doesn't tell you what they are, instead encouraging you to experiment.
The uses we've found include reducing the time it takes tribespeople to level up or for buildings to be constructed, as well as making tribespeople feel younger than they really are. And speaking of age, all of your tribespeople will age and eventually die.
You can prolong their life by using moondust. You can also choose for tribespeople to have children, to sustain the tribe. In order to have kids, you have to obtain a certain number of stork feathers. One feather appears on your island every day, and others can be collected on your friends' islands. Your chosen mother and father also have to be the appropriate age for having a child – not too young and not too old. Once a science station is built, you can have your tribespeople do research to obtain science points.
These points can then be spent on a variety of skills, including the ability to craft more complex clothing, farm more difficult crops, or simply increase the rate at which your people level up. Besides all of this, there are also three mystery items on each island that will provide you with a benefit if you can figure them out. The game will give you some hints about them, but for the most part you need to work out on your own how to crack the mystery. After progressing through a number of the quests, you can build an ark and move your entire tribe to a new island with different mysteries to solve.
My Tribe is the most feature-rich game we've seen on the platform so far, and the developers will only continue to add more to the game. We're excited about what lies ahead for this game, and hope to see more complexity in other games, as well. Want more news on this and other popular Facebook games?
